Daniel's bio

Just the facts:

- Born May 30, 1834, Ireland (presumably in Cork) to William and Margaret
- Arrived in the US when still a young boy, with his mother and possibly a sister, name unknown
- Served in Company D of the 22nd NY Regiment during the Civil War, from 1861-63
Married Rachel Clement in Hebron, NY on Nov. 10, 1863, and they had 5 children:

Preston M.
Edwin D.
Annie E.
Alice M. Winslow
- Died August 19, 1917 in Cambridge, NY - buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Salem NY

Daniel was wounded at the 2nd Battle of Bull Run on August 30, 1862. He served out the remainder of his 2 year call of duty.

Daniel and Rachel, along with a few of their children, and several other people in the family tree, are interred at Evergreen Cemetery.
